footed companion again - he&#39;s the retired guide dog that belonged to my oldest son&#39;s best friend who was blind and got the dog to help with navigation
at college and law school.  We are the dog&#39;s retirement plan.  So my pace isn&#39;t always what it used to be especially in the heat and humidity that are

I&#39;m leaving Saturday AM for vacation in Montana.  We rented a fabulous vacation home with our friends who love to fish in this area.  The road where our
Shangri-La is located is fairly flat and parallels a gorgeous river.  We&#39;re located at mile-marker 7.

marathons and this past spring did the 21 Mile Power Walk in Big Sur.  Here&#39;s the problem - I&#39;m incredibly inconsistent.  I will train for an event,

			<title><![CDATA[ Walking Miles and Car Miles ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>This may be a dumb question because miles are miles, but here it goes.  Is the same distance you drive in miles the same that you would walk?  A neighboe
said that she calculates her miles walking by first driving that distance (for example from her house around the block then up to a certain spot and back) 
then she walks that to get in the amount of miles she needs to walk.  I though that a stride may be different from the wheel rotation.  Can anyone help me on
