Some background: I&#39;ve been walking since I got married (after a brief stint of trying to run) about 3 1/2 years now, pretty much 3-5 miles (15 min mile)
4-6 x per week, except for the last couple of Montana winters. I&#39;m 24, 5&#39;8 and weigh on the highest end of normal (165).

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I have been training for walking my first half marathon in May. (Cleveland)  I have found though - that regardless of all of the walking that I am doing
this week - that I am not seeing any weight loss.  I am eating healthy foods and drinking lots of water.

Could this lack of weightloss be from the training (as in building muscles from walking) or should I see my dr to discuss trying to find why I cannot lose any
weight?

			<description><![CDATA[ Ok, I did it. I signed up the the half in Clear Lake, Texas on April 6. I talked another friend into doing it with me. It starts in the parking lot of the
University of Houston at Clear Lake and the race route passes Armand Bayou Nature Center, Johnson Space Center, and crosses part of Clear Lake.  Over a bridge,
not through a river, like David&#39;s race.

Los Gatos has a foothill type of geography, no major hills but hilly<br>
enough to be a challenge. Temps start in the 60's and end in the 70's.<br>
First 5 miles of the course are on streets and a mostly paved trail the<br>
rest of the way.<br>

Start is a bit crowded due to a 10k being run, there is only +600 people<br>
doing the half.  Despite moderate hill at the beginning my first few<br>
